Vibrant new website sees Health and Social Care Scotland go online

A vibrant and comprehensive new website has been launched for Health and Social Care Scotland (HSCS).

The shared vision of HSCS is a Scotland where health and social care services are delivered in a sustainable and integrated way and people receive the treatment, care and support they need at the right time and in the right setting, with a focus on community based and preventative approaches.

HSCS is led by the Chief Officers Executive Group (South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership Chief Officer Val de Souza is a member) who are supported by a small team.

The website hosts a wealth of information and resources including detail and key information about Scotland’s 31 Health and Social Care Partnerships. You can also read the first newsletter from David Williams, Chief Officer of Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership and Chair of Health and Social Care Scotland’s Chief Officer Group on the platform.

The site was launched at the inaugural conference of HSCS in Glasgow in December 2018. The significant progress that has been driven by SLHSCP in developing Telehealth and Telecare was a focal point of the showcase event.
